There are so many video clips uploaded everyday. A lot of money is made from these video clips, the article mentions its more than one billion dollars! Technology is expensive and a good business. Digital video is the next popular technology that is going to be used. There is higher technology where video can be used in the classrooms. PBS films all the animals in a close up with the high technology it has. They have tiny cameras where they can be placed anywhere without a person holding the camera and video taping the animals very close. The technology is so advanced it even has cameras that can go in the water!. Even though there are so many video resources on the web, there is no derect connection between this content and teachers instructional objectives. It's up to individual teachers to find ways to link these resources in order for the students to learn the skills. Its possible for teachers to download videoclips ahead of time in order for video clips to be available even if the school network is limited. The Discovery Network (DEN) is a great experience that provides teachers and students to upload and repost important information.
